Samsung Galaxy A30s starts receiving Android 11 update – Times of India

Samsung is one company that takes OS updates seriously. Till now the company has updated most of its smartphones to Android 11. Recently, Samsung Galaxy A20 received Android 11 update and now the company has rolled out the update for Galaxy A30s.
Samsung Galaxy A30s is now getting Android 11 updated based on the company’s own One UI 3.1. The update comes with firmware version A307FNXXU2CUF2 and it also brings the security patch for May 2021.
With Android 11 update, Galaxy A30s users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
The company launched the Samsung Galaxy A30s in 2019 and it is the second major software update of the smartphone. The handset came with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. It received Android 10 update last year and is now getting Android 11 update.

Samsung Galaxy A30s comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ display with 720×1560 pixel resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A30s packs 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone comes with dual SIM support and comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A30s sports a triple rear camera with a 25MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture.
The front houses a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 4000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support
