The entertainment industry is crippled amid the deadly second wave of COVID-19. With no shoots happening, several members, which include junior artists, daily wage workers, and others are struggling hard to meet their daily needs. Now, actor Salman Khan has come forward to extend help to such people in the industry. The actor will be helping the stunt artists who are registered members of the Movie Stunt Artistes Association and are currently jobless due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Confirming the same, the general secretary of the association, action director Aejaz Gulab said, ‘Now, we are getting help from Salman Khan, and the money will be transferred into the accounts of our members.’ Well, earlier last year during the first lockdown Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn helped these stunt artists by distributing essential ration and giving financial help to about 350 members of the association respectively. Actor Akshay Kumar is also doing his bit by taking care of the insurance cover for all the members of the association. Meanwhile, coming back to Salman Khan, the actor has been actively doing all his bit, from providing food to transferring money, the actor is working relentlessly to provide relief to the industry people amid the tough time. For the unversed, other than spreading awareness about COVID-19 and urging people to stay home, the actor earlier rolled out food trucks to distribute food kits which included tea, mineral water, a pack of biscuits, and snacks to those in need. Recently, a video of his went viral on social media wherein he could be seen checking the quality of the food which was being sent to the frontline workers by his team as part of his philanthropy and humanitarian work.
